So this happened on Monday dawn, 21 May 2012. And we in Kuwait were not able to see it. Only China to Western US could. This annular solar eclipse is just like a total eclipse except the moon doesn’t entirely cover the sun, but it forms a “ring of fire”. Last time this happened was in 1994, and the next time will be in 2023!
This is one of the situations where I’m just so envious of whoever was able to witness such a phenomenon! All we can do now is look at the photos/videos and weep..
