Ford has recently recalled 81 of its Escape SUVs in Kuwait as a part of 484,600 other cars worldwide, after finding out the gas pedal (throttle) can be stuck open. There have been 68 reported complaints of stuck throttles including nine injuries and one possible fatality.
The action only covered Ford Escapes from the 2001-2004 model years with three-liter, V6 engines. If you’re an owner of a Ford Escape with the above specifications, you better have it checked.
