Kuwait Airways has been seeking US$1.2bn in compensation, and Iraq agreed to allocate US$500m to end the dispute; $300m in cash, and the other $200m to be invested in the joint airline. Which by the way will be a whole new airline by itself, not a result of combining the 2 current airlines.
