Kuwait Healthcare System Ranking Drops From 48th To 75th

“Kuwait’s ranking in the healthcare system index of the World Health Organization (WHO) fell drastically from 48th in 2009 to 75th in 2011.

According to the latest WHO report, Kuwait recorded higher tuberculosis and infant mortality rates this year. The report showed a high number of deaths among infants who are one day to 12 months old.

On the positive aspect of the report, Kuwait recorded zsero percent in malaria and less than one percent in weak immune system among people whose age range from 15 to 49 years old. The country topped the world rating for these two categories, the report added.” Source

That’s really bad. I’m interested to know the exact infant mortality rate though. I wonder what caused that sudden rise of infants’ death in only 2 years!
