The list of the top 500 most influential Muslims for 2011 has been issued by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in Amman. The top 3 ranks are as follows..
1. His Majesty King Abdullah bin ‘Abd Al ‘Aziz Al Saud
King of S Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
2. His Majesty King Mohammed VI
King of Morocco
3. His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan
Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey
I was surprised to see some of the figures who made it at the top ranks. Amr Khaled for example, ranks at #21.
The list is actually more of a book with detailed biographies for each Islamic figure. Very interesting to read. You can view them all by downloading it here
