Free Kuwait is a new website constructed by Kuwaiti researcher Adel Al-Yousifi who collected more than 800 photographs for events and activities that were held in London mostly for the Kuwaiti community during the Iraqi invasion between August 1990 and February 1991, creating a photo-documentary of that time. What is amazing about the project is how Al-Yousifi (in cooperation with an American lady) managed to find the names of people in photos and contact some of them. He also succeeded in specifying the exact dates of the events in the photos.
Al-Yousifi is still working on the video section of the website. He welcomes anyone who has a video from that time to participate by contacting him.
I tried entering the website but it seems to be under construction. Which is weird since the article in Kuwait Times says the website has already launched.
