Fahad Mohamed Al-Buainain and Talal Abdul Aziz Al-Emadi are 2 Qatari men who volunteer in Qatar Charity (QC). They will be the first from their country to climb Africa’s highest mountain Kiliminjaro in Tanzania, in an effort to increase awareness of the famine that threatens millions of people in West Africa.
The expedition is scheduled to start on 16 March 2012. But before Tanzania the two adventurers will be visiting the Republic of Niger to see first-hand the conditions in that particular region of Africa and to document the human suffering of those affected by famine caused by drought and food shortages.
It’s a beautiful thing to have that kind of will towards a cause you believe in, must be a great feeling. Very proud of these brave guys.
