Oman, UAE, and Yemen Under Tsunami Warning

After the 8.7 magnitude earthquake that hit Sumatra island/Indonesia this morning, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre (PTWC) issued a statement naming the UAE, Oman and Yemen among the countries that could have been impacted this evening if a Tsunami does result from the earthquake.

The PTCW forecast that a Tsunami could reach Fujairah in the UAE, Omani capital Muscat and Yemeni port Aden this evening. Via Arabian Business

May god watch over them.

All three countries Oman, UAE, and Yemen were taken off the Tsunami warning. Source

Praying there won’t be any Tsunami eventually.
