Chevrolet Impala was recently put back on the Kuwait market after being discontinued for years. The Impala 2014 came back strong with a new design and a modern interior packing new technologies that are new to the standard Chevrolet sedan. It comes in LS, LT, and LTZ. Has a 3600CC engine, 6 cylinders, and produces 305 HP.
The car is luxurious, specially for a person who loves a lot of buttons inside their car to play with, like myself, features include:
Mubarak Al-Rumaidhi, Kuwait’s Red Bull drifting champion, held a drifting event where he took random social media figures on thrill rides around Sirbb Circuit. Aiming towards bringing the drifting experience to people who have nothing to do with it and boy was that a success! I even got to experience it myself.. ADRENALINE!
AlGhanim Auto has recently provided me with their 2014 full-options Chevrolet Cruze LT for a weekend to test out. Now this was a fairly new experience for me not being very used to small cars, but it ended up blowing my expectations for having all the options you see in a larger sedan, only packed together in a smaller space.
A couple of weeks ago Al Ghanim held a huge event at the ice skating rink to celebrate their newest collaboration with Honda. The event featured many shows from traditional Kuwaiti performers to Japanese drummers to visual symphonies -my favorite part- to laser shows. Plus a demo by Honda’s most advanced robot Asimo. And a great surprise performance by hussain Al Jasmi at the end.
Alghanim Automotive is holding a Vintage Car Exhibition at the basement floor of Al Hamra Luxury Center. It showcases a rare collection of classic, mid 20th century American cars ranging from classic 1950s Chevrolet and Cadillac sedans to 1960s Corvettes.
The exhibition started on the 3rd of March and will end on the 16th.
Red Bull X-Fighters Jams happened last night at the Kuwait Towers waterfront. The show included top international riders Martin Koren from the Czech Republic, Nick Franklin from New Zealand, Daniel Boudin from Sweden and Chris Brock from the United Kingdom. 14,000 People attended the show which started at 7:30 pm and went on for an hour and a half.
The riders did some epic tricks. Backflips, Supermans and Cliffhangers, with some jumps reaching up to 10 m high.
