The robot goes by the name REEM. And 20 of her kind were already ordered to operate in the malls of Abu-Dhabi by next year.
They are manufactured by Barcelona-based PAL Robotics, a company under the umbrella of the Abu Dhabi based Royal Group. The company has plans for a factory that will produce a dozen robots per month.
The use of robots will be starting at malls and exhibition centers. And then expanding to hospitals, hotels, airports, and museums.
