Redbull, for the last couple of days, have been posting teasers on their Facebook page of what appears to be shots from Felix Baumgartner’s famous space jump which the whole world witnessed last year, along with the hashtag #GuessWhosLanding in Kuwait.
Could we be in for witnessing another jump by Felix right here in Kuwait? I wouldn’t expect another space jump, but a jump from the Kuwait towers – for example- would be cool.
Turns out Janet Jackson and Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana have been married for the past year and miraculously managed to keep the news from the press. The couple revealed the official announcement on Janet’s website after being flooded with rumors concerning an “upcoming extravagant wedding”.
“The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet”

Chevrolet, the current official car partner of Manchester United, has recently signed a deal to become the club’s shirt sponsors. The Chevy bow tie logo will be seen on the players’ shirts starting in the 2014-2015 season.
On this occasion, Alghanim Automotive & Chevrolet have invited legendary goalkeeper and Man U club ambassador Peter Schmeichel for a visit to Kuwait, specifically to the Historical Vintage & Classical Cars Museum.
The evening was generally well-organized and uncrowded. I had some football-fanatic-friends attend on my behalf since I’m not that much into football. It started with Schmeichel touring the museum and checking out the cars. The fans were then given the chance to take pictures with him and get his autograph.

Lana Del Rey is the face and voice of H&M this fall. Apart from her print campaign she will be recording a music video which will be available to watch on www.hm.com on 19 Sept 2012.
She will also be doing another print campaign in October, featuring the best of H&M’s winter collection.
